Hot Desking and Meeting Space

Portgordon Community Trust

The Richmond Building in Portgordon has been thoughtfully repurposed into a simple yet functional community hub. Once the Richmond Arms pub, the building now offers flexible rooms for meetings, small workshops, and informal gatherings. Recently refurbished with fresh paint and carpeting, the space provides a comfortable setting for local groups, community activities, and project work. While the facilities are straightforward, they serve as a valuable resource for bringing people together in the heart of the village.

Upstairs, the building includes a small hot-desking and co-working office area, suitable for individuals looking for a quiet place to work or meet. With a two-desk private office and a shared workspace available, it’s ideal for freelancers, remote workers, or local start-ups needing an occasional base. The setup is basic but practical. With high-speed internet, adaptable seating, and access to shared amenities, this co‑working facility provides a professional yet relaxed environment where individuals can work productively while connecting with others in the Portgordon area. It highlights the Trust’s commitment to fostering local enterprise, creativity, and social enterprise through sustainable use of historic space
