My wife Ruth and I moved to Portgordon in April 2024 and have fallen in love with the village. I have never been part of a community trust before but looking forward to helping as much as I can.
I started my working life ln 1981 as an Apprentice Coachbuilder as a 16 year old and eventually got into motor racing in 1989 with the Footwork Arrows Formula One Team. By 2000 I was working for BAR F1 Team which would eventually become Honda then Brawn and finally Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team. I left at the end of 2023 to start a new life and challenge in Scotland and started working for Orbex Space in Forres developing and building a carbon fibre rocket.
